Dammit, too slow... i've just finished copying the full list !
I like that list, it's eclectic, quite complete, it adds albums more recent than in the other one (Wu-Tang album for instance) and it will help Sound of Silver get closer to Neon Bible

Definitely a solid list, though the two I'm really surprised didn't rank are two they liked during the year and are probably in my top 10:
Blitzen Trapper - Wild Mountain Nation
Really good genre-pummeling southern slacker pop they start one song with a chaotic guitar riff that could easily be Battles, another song with a haunting grizzly bear arpeggio, but both get twisted into far more hummable tra-la-la stuff.
and even moreso
Sunset Rubdown - Random Spirit Lover
Totally unique aesthetic and chuck-full of so many ideas I can understand why it might be overwhelming to some, but I figured enough p4k staffers were the type to get absorbed in Krug's stuff that they would appreciate it at least in the top 50 of the year, in which the previous album was included.
My guesses were as follows:
1. LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver (2)
2. Of Montreal - Hissing Fauna Are You the Destroyer (5)
3. Radiohead - In Rainbows (4)
4. Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam (6)
5. Burial - Untrue (10)
6. MIA - Kala (3)
7. Deerhunter - Cryptograms (14)
8. Battles Mirrored ca-ching
9. The National Boxer (17)
10. The Field From Here We Go Sublime (9)
Wouldn't Shock Mes:
Panda Bear - Person Pitch (1)
Justice - Cross (15)
Stars of the Lid and their Refinement of the Decline (43)
Sunset Rubdown - Random Spirit Lover (NR)
Spoon - Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga (7)
Not a bad list, but as usual weighted toward random stream of consciousness noisy stuff, and the sorts of albums that they think will enable them to have the following conversation:
"You actually listen to this? It's hardly even music!"
"Well, I guess I'm just more into music as art and more open minded than you."
Overall, exactly what you would expect from Pitchfork. (I bet they were originally going to go with Sound of Silver as #1, but then somebody said 'We can't go with that, everyone else is going to!')
Well Bill, I guess "that's not even music" is what I would say for the Field and for a part of Panda Bear album (I would have said that too for Animal Collective's Feel but their new album is much more easy to listen)
Anyway I kinda love this list, Of Montreal and Battles deserve acclaim even if they are quite strange albums.
