Re: MOJO EOY 2010

Wow. John Grant at #1 and MGMT in the top 5. Didn't see that coming. Will give both of those another spin now.

Re: MOJO EOY 2010

They gave perfect ratings to both albums, and also to Joanna Newsom, thats why i expected a higher placement, but top 20 and making the Q list (Ys didnt back in 2006) is cool.

Re: MOJO EOY 2010

THANKS for posting this list now -- it will take a few weeks for my issue of Mojo to arrive in the mail, and I was eager to know what topped their list.

Fabulous for John Grant -- a gorgeous album, well-deserving of the top rank. Also great to see Doug Paisley at #10.

Q: where are Robyn, Sleigh Bells, Perfume Genius and Twin Shadow?

Re: MOJO EOY 2010

well for me personally I'm a huge fan of both britpop and shoegaze but I'd wouldn't even rank Blur or MBV amongst my top 10 favorite britpop and shoegaze bands. It's still odd to see them omitted while Tom Petty, Janet Jackson and the Stones are included.
