1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .

Good morning all, I've been thinking about pomegranates especially the last few days. Drinking juice trying to stay well so I can visit grand babies over the holidays if we are still here. Pomegranates are supposed to be good for immunity.
Also, I've been thinking, doesn't it look like a little crown on the pomegranate? I've heard said that the pomegranates on the hem of priests garments were representative of the fruit of the Spirit of God. That could be, but I wonder if the pomegranates represent the bride of Christ, the church, who has planted the seed of the gospel since Jesus was here, and the bells on the hem are representative of the prophets who foretold the messiah coming?.
The church declares His coming until He returns (the rapture and resurrection), and also during the 70th week of Daniel (new believers) until the second coming of Jesus to earth. Since these bells and fruit were on the hem of the garment, then every footstep, they would go forth, saying in effect that the Lord is coming, listen to Him, listen for Him.. When the two witnesses appear, they certainly are "bells" ringing that it is time to worship God alone.
God bless you all. The Lord Jesus loves His bride and will come when the Father says it is time. Trust Him. Trust God and trust His Son and trust the Holy Spirit who comforts and teaches us. Amen

34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.

In Franco Zeffirelli's Jesus of Nazareth miniseries...actor Robert Powell as Jesus, is seen in a scene, munching on a Pomegranite fruit. First he strikes it apart on a stone, then he is seen munching on it.
How ironic is that!?
