Hi all
I know it is probably sacrilege but I was wondering if anyone has tried to fit a more conventional side stand to the wm20?
The rear stand is great but not always practical and the main side side stand useless except on rough ground
If anyone has tried and got any tips or photos it would be a great help

I fitted this after market clamp on jiffy stand to my M20/Indian special to save myself putting it on the rear stand for opening/closing the five bar gate in my lane. I put some mig weld at the back to stop it spinning on the tube. Ron

I don't know if it's sacrilege but if the Sarn't Major catches you, it'll mean a week confined to barracks and the loss of a stripe if you've got one...I wouldn't risk it !

thanks Ron, that's just the sort ot thing I was looking for, I guess you had to put it so far forward because of the tight clearance
