Nothing to do with bikes. But I came across this yesterday. I think it looks great. Just needs petrol, water, battery, clean the points and a strimmer. Ron
I'm quite sure it's a genuine Willys Clive, and it's a complete Jeep under the nettles. So far he's rejected my offer of fifty quid to take it off his hands Ron
No Dave! Over here in Dorset, the locals eat nettle soup.....much more important than that stuff Henk grows
Jeepzzzzzz....Utterly uninteresting to me, but nevertheless, it's amazing how many people will leave a valuable vehicle to rot in the corner of a yard/field/shed/hedge....Ian
This is just one of several vehicles going the same way. He's not old or eccentric. Just a young bloke with too many projects and not enough time. He's quite clever and makes his living making aero frame parts for Spitfires and Hurricanes in his home workshop. I am currently negotiating with him on a lovely old WW2 Commer Karrier for a friend. After that, I'll up my offer on the Jeep. Ron
Don't think there's much chance here Chris. Have you spoken to Rory? You can get them nicely refurbished. Even when the wire reinforcing is poking out. Ron
I came across some gems during a trip to Brittany a couple of months ago-
I was going to take a closer look at the last lot but a large unfriendly dog sent me packing.
Cheers, Mick.
