Not a good site for rain!Being in wales this is unavoidable.We arrived with our perfectly matched "outfit" to find that the pitch was on a slope and that due to the ground conditions we could not get to our pitch without a 4x4! although the site owner was happy to tow us up with his it did mean that without his help we could not leave. Also only one shower, and MANY notices instructing how to use the toilet etc. A bit "League of gentlemen " if you get my drift.
Will stick with the Caravan and Camping club sites in future.

I assume this has been posted by someone who stayed on our park sometime in late August following several rainy days. Although some of our pitches are on a gentle slope the majority are level. Many of our visitors prefer to be higher up the field so that they have the benefit of the beautiful views from the park. When the weather has been wet it is sometimes necessary to tow inexperienced drivers on to their pitch to avoid damage to the grass and many hours spent reparing the damage long after visitors have gone. The toilet/shower facilities are new for this season and we find that they are more than adequate for the number of tent visitors to the park, many caravan owners tend to use their own facilities. We aim to provide clean facilities for our visitors to use but it soon became obvious that some visitors were not bothering to flush the toilets properly, so it was necessary to put one small notice in each toilet on the operation of the push button flush system in the hope that we could shame these people into normal human behaviour!!.
