After many years of caravaning in Cornwall, our family is now grown up, but during the years we have returned and returned to Polmanter and other sites. Polmanter is the best site out of all our holidays, we even returned last year without children. It is clean (just right for my OCD, 'he' says!), well run and very safe. No need to move if you dont want to. There is a pleasant bar and restaurant, games room and outdoor well maintained pool. All very tasteful, no workingmens club atmosphere. The pitches are large. There is a bus from the site into St. Ives and back again, or there is a footpath, which may be a little steep for children on the way back.
