Beautiful site with fantastic views. Large pitches with electric hook-up, BBQ and picnic table. Very clean toilet block and showers.

Farm walk was a real treat as seen lots of birds and wildlife. Dogs welcome -on lead around site and farm.

Easy to reach town of Kirkcudbright and Gatehouse-of-fleet. Both well worth a visit.

Also stayed on Solway View for 2 nights in Wigwam, friendly owners who have thought of everything including campfire BBQ and picnic bench beside each Wigwam (there are 3). Cookhouse with two gas hobs (each with 4 rings), toilets and showers free and clean shared with small caravan site in next field, (2 second walk), quiet site but kids loved it for the walk to beach through field and woods, absolutely stunning. The owners have provided a farm trail for you to follow at your leisure.
