100 Must Have CDs

Borders and Rolling Stone in Australia have just released a list of ‘The 100 Must Have CDs’. The promotional blurb for Borders describes it as ‘a list of essential albums that belong in any music lover’s collection’. The albums were chosen by the editors of RS… as those ‘responsible for the evolution of music’ and which ‘defined a generation and continue to resonate with music lovers today’.

The list doesn't appear to be published in Australian RS magazine itself, but in a brochure available at Borders, where the listed CDs feature in a promotional sale. Ah, commerce.
