I am looking for a sw AM transmitter (6-8 Mhz) like The Grenade Transmitter made by Radio Animal (WKND).




My requirements are:


1) Compact size for portable operation. 12v powered. solid state and designed according to a philosophy of rugged simplicity and functionality with available and inexpensive components.


2) Aprox. 2-10 watts output fully modulated.


3) Integrated low pass filtering.


4) Xtal operated but crystals are getting rare.


5) Line level input with switcheable audio transformer for higher levels.


6) Accurate schematic and component list should be included with the transmitter, to make repair and adjustment easy.


7) I am willing to pay any reasonable price for the rig.


The rig should be delivered assembled & tested to Sweden, in the Stockholm area.




If You have an better idea or source something better then a replica of the Grenade would more than suffice.




If you know anybody who can sell a complete rig or


bring it into Sweden, Stockholm please let me know!
