The Intentional Care Approach is a work in progress. From the beginning Advocates Inc. and Patricia E. Deegan, Ph.D. envisioned an on-line learning community that would foster discussion and debate in order to improve and innovate on the Intentional Care Approach. This Discussion Forum is a chance for all of us to share the excitement, challenges and discoveries that we make while learning to support clients more effectively in their recovery. Welcome!

• Do not use offensive language in this forum. Racist, sexist, homophobic, mentalist and other types of slurs have no place here.
• Do not ask for direct clinical consultation in this discussion forum. The advice given in this discussion forum is meant as a response to generic scenarios. Always consult your clinical supervisor for direction in the clinical care of clients you may be working with.
