Message:   please may anyone with sailing experince have a look over the exercise (http://www.training-manager.co.uk/documents/TMSS-LostatSeaExercise.pdf) , because after doing it myself I have realised how incorrect I feel the answers are. After reading the dramatic book survive the savage sea i fell (as an experinced salior) that this exersize is fundamentally wrong and i would appericate some other people looking over it for their thoughts on what the actual answers are. One must also take into consideration though when doing this exersize that this puts you somewhere in the same place as in the book, this means that the people with no sailing experince have even less chance, but one error by the "experts" is that signalling would only work if you had someone to signal to, unfornatully no coastguard helichopter can reach this far out and only airplanes can reach this far, but then the chance of seeing you, i mean who do you know that does regullar patrolls of internatinal waters for people in an unreported sinking yacht that just happens to have no epirb (even though its a charter boat). Anyway thatks for your help.
