i'm going to see you tonight at cabaret in nottingham.
i have to go because a friend of a friend is having a birthday. my friend told me the comedians tonight were stewart lee and josie lawrence. so i arranged for my boyfriend to pick me up at half ten.
josie lawrence was quite funny ten years ago, but not very, i thought. she used to do singing jokes which i don't like.
anyway it's too late to ask the boyfriend to come later - he gets anxious with changes of plans.
so i suppose i want to apologise for maybe walking out halfway through your act.
it's all my friend's fault for saying you were josie lawrence.
