Can I just say how _extremely_ difficult this was? I just looked at my list again, and I almost didn't recognize it; if I did another version right now, half the tracks might be different. For some reason, narrowing the Dylan catalog to a mere 10 songs was much more taxing than doing so for the Beatles or the Stones. How about a nice, easy assignment, like Favorite Sex Pistols Album or Best Film Directed by Charles Laughton?

Great suggestion, Harold, and while I'm still tinkering at that Beatles 10est ever, i'm pretty sure my ultimate Pistols' album choice picks either 'Damned Damned Damned' or that somewhat uber-self-confident sequel ‘Bollocks'. If EMI only had chosen to include ‘Anarchy" on the first-mentionend, I'd definitely go for that. Oh, and choosing a Laughton directed movie is so much harder, but my flick memory's always been bound to those two fugitive kids on their riverboat underneath that shiny slimy spiderweb. As I remember, the title of that movie was "Two Kids Who Got On Their Riverboat And Escaped The Christian Fanatist" and it was tremendously exciting. Unlike ‘Thunder Road' when Laughton's halo remarkably began to diminish...

I just looked at my list again, and I almost didn't recognize it; if I did another version right now, half the tracks might be different. For some reason, narrowing the Dylan catalog to a mere 10 songs was much more taxing than doing so for the Beatles or the Stones. How about a nice, easy assignment, like Favorite Sex Pistols Album or Best Film Directed by Charles Laughton?

If EMI only had chosen to include ‘Anarchy" on the first-mentionend, I'd definitely go for that. Oh, and choosing a Laughton directed movie is so much harder, but my flick memory's always been bound to those two fugitive kids on their riverboat underneath that shiny slimy spiderweb. As I remember, the title of that movie was "Two Kids Who Got On Their Riverboat And Escaped The Christian Fanatist" and it was tremendously exciting. Unlike ‘Thunder Road' when Laughton's halo remarkably began to diminish...
