THE RULES: Our critics were asked for their top 20 new releases and top 10 reissues, though shorter lists were accepted. A #1 ranking received 20 points, #2 received 19, and so on. Unranked ballots received an equal point-value for each entry. Only records released in 2004 were eligible. They also compiled a Top 40 last year. Did you ever get that list? I still have the magazine. I'm sure I could reproduce it and post it here if you would like to see it. |

Many thanks for this Robbie! Yes, I'd be very happy if you post the last year's results. Is this a UK or US magazine? |

Re: No Depression Best Of ' 04 Critics Poll
It's a US magazine that's been around since about 1995. Published every 2 months it specializes in Alt.Country. In fact it was highly influential in defining and creating the whole genre. I will dig out last year's poll, scan it and post it here sometime during the next 24 hours. (I think last year was the first time this magazine produced and end of year poll). |

Here's a link to the magazine website. It doesn't contain any magazine content, but does tell you all about the magazine. http://www.nodepression.net/ |
