Nice to see some non-english speaking artists in there. I take it many of those are Italian? Can you recommend any personally?

Re: Blow Up best of 2004

The only Italian artist in the list are Tom Recchion and Bugo, who is a songwriter with punk and new-wave influences. His album is very amazing, but I recomend it only to Italian speaking, 'cause lyrics are very important.
Niste Nije Niste are an Austrian girl group, making experimental music.

Italian albums

an Italian album that I recommend to everyone is the last one by Nada (see "Mucchio Selvaggio" list). She's a songwriter quite similar to Patty Smith and PJ Harvey. Her album was producted by John Parish (PJ Harvey), and Howe Gelb (Giant Sand) composed some song together with Nada.

I can recommend an Italian ragga group, for the fans:
Sud Sound System. Very nice for those who like a little bit of variaton in the linguistic part of music.
