Let That Pony Run
Yesterday was one of the worst days of our lives. The vet was here and we helped Cookie to the Rainbow Bridge. We buried her here on the property. We have been waiting for her to tell us when she had had enough. She laid down on Friday morning and had not gotten up. She lost all interest in her feed and hay. She would not drink any water. We had 11 girl scouts out here yesterday afternoon and she had no interest in the kids. We took all the indicators to be her way of telling us she was ready. After we called the doctor I went to the barn to tell her. She reached up with her little nose and touched my nose. I am certain it was a "Thank you". Misfit Acres now has it's littlest Angel.
