Message:   I just thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm a current student(only on module 2). I've been into the chat cafe but no one is ever there...is there a regular time that people meet up there?

I've just been looking around the site again after not being on for a while. I really like the info Richard has put there in the 'getting the public to come to you' article (although that's still quite a way off for me).

I'm currently acting as a receptionist for my husbands rather new online tutoring business. After Christmas bookings weren't coming in very quickly at all and we could really do with the money right now having 4 children to clothe and feed. I do a lot of the things that Richard suggests there...never offering an appointment the next day etc...always needing to check the diary for the next available 'window'. A few weeks ago we had nothing booked in at all...so I sent out a newsletter to all his current students giving them all the up to date news and 'threw in' a mention of how we were filling up the diary so fast that people would need to book up giving as much notice as possible although we'd try to 'squeeze them in' if they needed a lesson quickly...two days later...diary filled :)

One thing that I'd like to know...is advertising in newspapers worth the cost...it seems that hypnotherapy might be one of the more 'word of mouth' careers.
