Audiovox has done it again !!! Those whom have purchased a XM-Ready receiver unit "OF" their own Family of Products are LEFT OUT in THE COLD!!!!
...mainly Jensen "After-Market" Receiver's; 99.9%
it used to be that you used the XMD-1000 Universal tuner to be direct-lynk'd with your deck; however as you may know, they have been fased out by the more efficient "DNP2000UC."
DON'T CALL AUDIOVOX for assistance, because you'll get the run around as I did of the coming "Software-Update is 'ANYDAY' Now," for me, it's been months. It seems that other manufacturer's products; Sony, Pioneer, ARE more important than their OWN Family of components!!!
The only solution is to install the XM-FM Modulator to your XM-Unit to your Jensen Deck ---- then wait till "HELL Freezes Over" for the CNP2000UC software to miraculously appear on their website.
Guess when "Pigs Fly," I'll be able to use the products for their own brands like ALL the lucky Sony, Pioneer, and other NON-Audiovox lines .
So, PLEASE, consumer, customer's, and citizens BEWARE !!! |
