Standing Room Only, Captive Audience,
Great Show, Standing Ovation. A complete
evening of great karma with Caroline Live
in a cozy room filled with fine folks.
Caroline Aiken's performance in Macon was
absolutely awesome with many old friends,
an early show in a room filled with truly
enlightened and appreciative people. Good
that Caroline brought plenty of c.d.s as
"Are We There Yet Mama" sold like hot cakes.
Publishers of Georgia Music Magazine, The
Eleventh Hour Entertainment Review, and
writers from The Macon Telegraph and the
Monroe County Reporter were in attendance
arriving as journalists, but leaving the
standing room only concert as devoted fans.
True to her promise, the legendary Mama Louise
sat on the front row & stayed afterwards along
with numerous others to spend quality time with
Caroline. Mary Alice Applegate, marketing director
for Georgia Music Hall of Fame presented Caroline with
a gift of appreciation for loyalty and inspiration to music and songwriting for so many good years.
Owner of the Golden Bough, Lilly Ambrose,
and several attendees will likely request a repeat
performance following the Europe tour.
"Mama Louise is rarely sighted outside her famous
H&H Restaurant. The only musicians known to draw
her attendance in recent years are Gregg Allman,
Chuck Leavell, and yes, Caroline Aiken."
