Hello Karina,
staying in an apartment gives you the freedom and the privacy that you can't find at a hotel. Some hotels are cheaper but, pound for pound, apartments are usually more stylish and can give you the feeling of what it means "living" in Venice rather than being just a tourist.
If you wish some prices for apartments, send us a private e-mail with some dates and we will get back to you with an offer.

We are 4 adults/friends thinking of going to Venice in May/June. Would like to stay in an appartement together. Could you please give us some tip. about how much to pay for a week? It would be cheaper than 2 hotel rooms I suppose?? ...and nicer  .
