Dismayed with Disney
According to the Jim Hill Media website, Sharon Morrill, a long time president of DisneyToon Studios was asked to step down. This means an end to Disney direct-to-video sequels. Truth be told, some of them are, but not all of them! I personally enjoy many of the productions. They bring added "life" to our favourite Disney characters and keeps the tradition of musicals in the animated genre. I also enjoy many of the songs written for these projects. I am definitely dismayed with Disney. "High School Musical 2" is not the way to go. I find it extremely entertaining and fun but an embarrassment in terms of what is supposed to be a musical. |
