VERY OVERCROWDED DURING BANK HOLIDAYS, NO SET PITCH SIZES SO TENTS & VANS SQUASHED INTO ANY AVAILABLE SPACE. BIG BIG FIRE HAZARD DURING BUSY TIMES. NEVER AGAIN. |

Antiquated, dilapidated, total mismanagement, i have been on dirty camp sites before as i was in the Army for 20 years, but never as bad as this. I would not go back if they offered it for free. If anyone from AA read this, please could they tell me how this site got 3 stars. |

Have been here 3 times now, never again. Bank holiday and crowded in like sardines. Toilet block filthy with mud and no bucket and mop to use. Heated pool FREEZING. A fully equipped shop with nothing in it. Not a paper or mag in sight.A campsite shop with no charcoal or firelighters!!!! No toilet rolls either, but told I was welcome to pull some off the rolls in the toilets.WHAT!! No set pitch sizes which led to a lot of confusion and my daughters tent guys were overlapping ours. What a fire hazard. Very young staff here. It needs someone to stand up and be counted about the deteriation of this sight. such a shame, because the setting is beautiful. I feel that someone is more concerned about money than the health and safety of the people paying a lot of maoney for their pitches . This is also one of the most expensive sites around. Sorry but won't be coming back. |
