Worst Holiday Ever
The touring site was flooded, ducks swimming in the field. No refunds offered for terrible conditions. When we arrived on the Thursday at 7pm the touring field was locked up and we could not get in. We eventually found the warden, who advised us not to go in the dark, as someone had already got stuck in the mud and had to pay the AA over £70 to be towed out. We could not park on the grass so were unable to put up our awning which we had paid for. I had to argue to get a refund on the awning only! I was told I had caught the manager on a good day!!! Once inside we could not leave until the caravan in front had left as the road was not wide enough to pass on! The site is less than 20 yards from the busy A27 dual carriageway. So be prepared to bring cotton wool for your ears as we had to. Appalling conditions made worse by the reception staff attitude. The only positive note was the park warden, who dealt with the adverse conditions his company had put him very well. |
