Nant Newydd Caravan Park, Anglesey - Check what facilities are open before you book!!!

Fantastic site if you plan to visit during kids school holidays for a few days or a week. If you are considering going outside of school holidays, forget it. Shop, pool and 1 toilet/shower block is closed.

Season is supposed to be 1st March - 31st October. As a customer of this site for the last few years we can confirm that full facilities are only available for approximately 3 months at very best. Before booking, ask what will be open during your stay!!!

During our time on site we discovered that long standing customers are becoming increasingly frustrated because they are paying so much money for pitches, ground rent and getting poor value for money in return. Static caravans are available for sale through the site at very high prices. Buy one at your peril! If you need to sell you'll get peanuts back. You can't sell or rent out your own caravan yourself. Also new age limit on static caravans.

We've moved on now as have many previous customers. Nant Newydd boasts about its customer waiting list. Can only assume that this waiting list is ever decreasing as a result of the poor facilities available to seasonal customers. Shame really as it truly is a beautiful site when fully open.
