hey patrick, i agree with jon, guppies are tuff little fish. i never really bother checking the ph or anything, everyother week i do a water change and do a monthly filter change- and feed them of course! and i have never had a guppy complain! (my fantailed goldfish on the other hand....sheesh. now theres fish with stress issues.) i heard guppies can even adapt in a salt water aquarium! they have got to be the easiest fish to get into. and get along with...i have some mollies in the tank and i had to take a couple of them out for being too agressive, they were picking the tails of the guppies- i cant stand when fish dont get along, my guppies like eveyone and i didnt think it fair to let them get bullied. good luck patrick , and dont fret too much over if yur guppies are happy- its obvious if they arent! |
