well, it was apparrent that if i didnt do something it would just be an allaround tragedy for mother and fry. she had passed only one fry successfully before she started sinking to the bottom and laying on her side. i heard you can sometimes gently squeeze the mother- i didnt know it it was true but at this point i was willing to try. i gently squeezed her and out popped a fry. then more fry. it was obvious the mom was not going to make it but most of the fry seemed alright. there were a few at the end that had come out already dead, about a half hour later all the other fry started dying one by one. it was a real dissapointment, but at least i know i tried. |
