Hey Again,
I was just sitting here thinking about your problem and a thought struck me. Is it possible that your fish had velvet? I have never had an outbrake of velvet in my tanks but I've read that it is often confused for a fungus infection. Velvet is a parasite and not a fungus so that could be why the medication wasn't working. You may want to do a search and see what you think. Diagnosing fish illness over the internet isn't always an exact science. I'm sorry I didn't think of that sooner.
