I used to be a Hoots inverness regular, but the standard of the music has gone downhill so much over the past year or so I usually can't even face staying downstairs and take refuge upstairs - and I love traditional music. It's all bodhran bashing, boring, samey, shoutey 'scots' songs, the same as every other bar sporting ' Scottish' music in Inverness. What happened to the quality playing and varied program? Paddy Rasta a breath of fresh air tho. Heading to London this weekend, hope Brixton is fairing better. |
