Message:   Attorney and former Mayor of Rialto Elvin R Meek Probate Case and Palau GovernmentIt is our contention that certain actions took place prior to our Father's death in October of 2003 at the Waipuna condos at 469 Ena Road in Hawaii. Our father's 5th wife Elizabeth we believe isolated him from family and friends by turning down the ringer on his phone and not telling him we had called, as well as not delivering messages to him. Medical Records obtained show our father AN ATTORNEY HIMSELF and a two term Mayor was 100% incapacitated 8 weeks prior to his death, his wife Elizabeth Asanuma Reklai, her daughter Lola Reklai by another marriage to Palauan Senator Johnny Reklai (He NEVER consented to her adoption and the recently deceased Senator John Reklai . An experieced fisherman , he drowned March of 2007. Lola has worked for his company since 2002. Elizabeth Asanuma Reklai Meek's attorney Robert M. Jones of Atascadero California prepared the Last Will and Testament and the 2nd amendment to the trust while practicing in California 2,000 miles away from our father at the request of Elizabeth (he clearly states this in his affidavit) . Robert M. Jones was not in Hawaii and we surmise he faxed the documents to her. Elizabeth drove our father to the Bank of Hawaii to have the documents signed and witnessed only 9 days before he lost his balance and fell then lapsed into a coma on the way to the hospital. It was at this time Elizabeth was supposed to have Dad in Hospice care, but opted for the documents signed and the trip to the Bank instead. Two people who managed the Waipuna condo in Honolulu, ARM Ralph Shumway, of the Moili'ili Resident Managers' Association in Honolulu and Ann Taylor witnessed the signing of the Last Will the next day on September 23rd 2003 , we feel she was too embarrassed to take the second set of documents which appear to be an afterthought of Robert Jones. Dad was incapacited according to other affidavits and when confronted about this Ann Taylor replied "I am under strict orders from Mrs Meek to not speak to you". WHY didn't Elizabeth go down the hall and ask my father's best friend of 35 years to sign? He was there! NOONE in our family has ever had harsh words with our father or his wife and I spoke with my father at least once a week. We were very close. We contend her Attorney Robert Jones knew our father was incapacitated (his accountant Michael Gould of Paso Robles was named in a few pleadings but refuses to answer any of our questions as to why we still do not have an accounting) At the time Elizabeth was NOT an American Citizen and legally was not allowed to sell property. My brother and I are American Citizens. Why did Robert Jones not come to us? Was he reluctant to reveal what he and Elizabeth were doing? She is as of May 2006 an American Citizen. My father handed me a copy of his 1996 Trust in April of 2002 when his relationship with Elizabeth was not on the best of terms. The matter after 4 years is still before the courts in Hawaii. Many have chosen not to post here and have instead chosen to e mail me directly Your responses are treated with discretion. nmeek48409@aol.com Thank you
