  3. I have a Lexmark Z32 inkjet printer. I go out of town for lengthy periods and my ink dries out. Is there a way to protect the printer cartridges from drying while I am gone? Thanks

    Unfortunately, it's most likely the monitor. But you do need to test the software and video card. I'd try the monitor on another computer. If it works OK, I'd download and install the latest video driver for your adapter. If that doesn't fix it, you may have a faulty video adapter.

    The best way to keep Inkjet printers from clogging is to use them. Try to print at least once every couple of days, even if it's just a few small pages. Thanks, Dr. Dave

    The only way to keep the printer ink from drying out once it has been opened is to print a page every few days. If the printer sits for more than a week or so you can find that it may start to clog a few of the nozzles. Time is the enemy of the inkjet printer cartridge! Thanks for the question. Dr. Dave
